Export Packaging for Toyota Wiper Blades: Protecting Rubber and Connectors in Bulk Shipping

1. Rubber deformation – When wiper blades are stacked or pressed against hard surfaces for weeks inside a container, the delicate rubber lip can take a permanent “set” (bent shape). This leads to streaking, chattering, or poor wiping performance right out of the box.
2. Connector damage – The small plastic adapters that attach the blade to the wiper arm are sturdy enough for normal use, but they are brittle under point impact or vibration. In loose bulk packing, connectors can crack or snap—making the blade unusable.

• Individual paper sleeve or blister pack – The rubber lip faces inward, suspended in air with no hard contact. Only the blade’s back spine touches the packaging.
• Reinforced connector area – Extra cushioning (foam or corrugated pads) surrounds the plastic connector end to absorb shocks.

1. Inspect rubber straightness – Look along the blade. The rubber lip should appear flat and straight, not wavy or curled.
2. Check connectors for cracks – Twist the connector gently. Any hairline fracture? Reject the piece.
3. Minor pressure marks? Let them rest – If a blade has a light indentation from storage but no visible cracking, lay it flat on a clean surface for 24 hours at room temperature. The rubber will often return to its original shape naturally.

Note: Genuine Toyota wiper blades use high-quality EPDM rubber with excellent memory recovery. Brief pressure marks are rarely permanent.
