Geely Electric Power Steering System – EPS Rack, Steering Column, Control Module & Motor Assembly

We are a specialized wholesale supplier of Geely electric power steering systems, delivering EPS steering rackssteering columnspower steering control modules, and EPS motors for the full Geely passenger vehicle range — including Coolray (Binyue)Azkarra / Monjaro (Xingyue L)Emgrand, and the Geometry series.

An electric power steering system replaces the traditional hydraulic pump, hoses, and fluid with an electric motor, a control module, and a torque sensor. When the driver turns the steering wheel, the torque sensor measures the twist on the torsion bar and sends a signal to the EPS control module. The module calculates the required assist force and commands the EPS motor to apply torque to the steering column or directly to the rack. The entire loop — from driver input to motor assist — happens in under 0.1 seconds.

Our Geely EPS steering rack is the most commonly replaced major EPS component. It integrates the rack and pinion gearset, the electric assist motor, and the torque/position sensors into a single sealed assembly. When a Geely vehicle is involved in a front-end or side impact collision, the EPS rack is vulnerable — the rack housing can crack, the tie rods can bend, and the internal torque sensor can lose calibration. A compromised EPS rack causes symptoms that range from uneven steering effort and pulling to one side, to complete loss of power assist and an EPS warning light on the instrument panel.

For column-type EPS systems, we supply the Geely electric steering column assembly — the complete unit including the steering shaft, EPS motor, reduction gear, and integrated control electronics. This is the configuration found on many Geely small- and mid-size platforms where packaging constraints make a column-mounted motor the preferred design.

Beyond complete assemblies, we also stock individual EPS control modules and EPS motors. The control module is the brain — when internal driver transistors fail due to heat or water ingress, the module can no longer pulse the motor. The EPS motor is the muscle — when the motor bearings wear or the rotor demagnetizes from overheating, the assist torque drops below specification. Replacing the failed sub-component rather than the entire rack can save significant cost, especially for fleet operators and insurance estimators.

Every  Geely EPS component we supply is tested for torque sensor calibration (zero-point and linearity), motor current draw under simulated load, and control module CAN bus communication. The rack housing is IP67 sealed, the tie rod boots are climate-resistant rubber, and the mounting bushings match the original durometer for correct road feel and noise isolation.

Technical Specifications
Exact EPS type (rack-drive or column-drive), motor power, communication protocol, and mounting points vary by Geely model and steering configuration. VIN matching is essential.

Why Source Geely EPS Systems From Us
Torque Sensor Calibration Verified
The torque sensor is the most sensitive element in the EPS system. A sensor with incorrect zero-point calibration causes the steering to pull to one side, even when driving straight. A sensor with poor linearity makes the steering effort feel uneven — light in one direction, heavy in the other. Every Geely EPS rack we ship has its torque sensor calibrated and verified on a test bench before packing, with a calibration certificate included.

Correct EPS Variant by VIN
The Coolray alone can use different EPS part numbers depending on whether it has lane-keeping assist, auto-parking, or standard power steering. The control module and the rack are a matched pair. We verify by VIN that the EPS control module you order communicates on the correct CAN bus version and that the rack's internal torque sensor data format matches the module.

Collision-Stressed Mounting Points Checked
An EPS rack from a vehicle that sustained a severe frontal impact may have micro-cracks in the aluminum housing at the mounting ears — cracks invisible to the naked eye that propagate under load. We inspect all Geely steering rack mounting points under magnification as part of incoming quality control, rejecting units with housing damage.

Motor Bearing Noise Screening
A noisy EPS motor bearing is the most common early-failure complaint. We run every Geely EPS assist motor through a noise-vibration test across the full speed range, rejecting motors with bearing roughness above the OE threshold. Your workshop customer installs a motor that is silent from day one.

Request Your Geely EPS Quotation
Need a replacement EPS steering rack for a collision-damaged Coolray? Sourcing a power steering control module for an intermittent assist failure? Looking for an EPS motor to restore assist on an Emgrand fleet vehicle?

Send us the VIN, part number, or a photo of the EPS warning on the instrument panel. We'll confirm the exact EPS variant and provide a wholesale quotation within 24 hours.
