What Makes the 9HDCT Different?
P2 Hybrid Architecture
The 9HDCT starts with the same 9-speed wet dual-clutch transmission as the 9DCT, then adds a P2 hybrid module. The P2 configuration places an electric motor between the engine and the transmission, allowing the system to drive the wheels using the engine, the motor, or both together.
Three-Clutch Module
The hybrid module uses a wet three-clutch + motor configuration-. This design enables seamless transitions between driving modes – pure electric, hybrid, and engine-only – without the clunky shifts that plague lesser hybrid systems.
Modular High-Voltage Design
