EB series high-efficiency engine is the first mass‑produced gasoline engine in China to feature CVVL (Continuous Variable Valve Lift) technology, and also the first domestic gasoline engine to apply passive pre‑chamber combustion technology.

Key Technology Highlights
- CVVL (Continuous Variable Valve Lift)
Independently developed by SC INDUSTRY, this technology allows continuous adjustment of intake valve lift from 0.8 mm to 8.64 mm across different operating conditions. At 2,000 rpm, it reduces fuel consumption by approximately 9%. Combined with DVVT (Dual Variable Valve Timing), it significantly improves low‑end torque and fuel economy. - Passive Pre‑Chamber Ignition
The EB series is the first Chinese gasoline engine to adopt passive pre‑chamber technology. The optimised combustion chamber design enables faster and more complete combustion, contributing to the 43% thermal efficiency. - VGT (Variable Geometry Turbocharger)
Equipped with a high‑efficiency VGT turbocharger capable of withstanding 980°C exhaust temperatures – one of the first in production worldwide. The advanced compressor wheel and low‑friction bearing system ensure quick spool‑up at low RPM, eliminating turbo lag while delivering strong torque across the entire rev range. - 350Bar High‑Pressure Direct Injection
A centrally mounted injector paired with a 350Bar fuel system, together with a newly designed combustion chamber, achieves superior fuel atomisation and mixing, improving combustion efficiency and reducing emissions. - Dual‑Platform Development
The EB series supports both conventional and hybrid powertrain platforms. Dedicated hybrid variants (HY4B15D / HY4B15E / HY4B15F) are already available to meet the global trend toward electrification.
